Who you know can be a great thing sometimes. Today I was approached by the 2010-11 ASOSU President, Andrew Struthers. I had applied to be the financial officer of Struther's cabinet but wasn't chosen for the position but apparently still kept in mind.
Andrew told me that he was looking for a student to recommend for the University Budget Committee and was interested in passing my name along. If chosen, I would be the lone student representative to the committee--populated by a group of whose-who's at OSU.
I'm excited to see how things develop.
