So I finally decided to get the free 1-month trial that Netflix is always advertising. And so far I've enjoyed the subscription. I'm thinking I'm going to keep it.
For my trial I've taken advantage of the live-streaming to watch two shows I have yet to ever get into: Farscape and Dr. Who. Partly sparked by their fame and also Netfix guessing I'd give them a 4.5 star rating, I've given them both a chance.
Dr. Who I've only gotten 3 episodes into the first season of the modern series. So far I'd only give it 3 stars. I'm hoping it gets better as it goes on. I haven't yet gotten the gumption to continue.
Farscape I've gotten a little further into. Right now I'm on episode 7 of season 1. Still I'd only give it 3 stars. Maybe 3.5 because I like puppets. I'm still watching episodes, so we'll see if it begins to grow on me as it goes on.
Generally, I love most anything in the Scifi (do I have to spell it Syfy now?) genre. These two shows have been good but not yet really great in my mind. Am I missing something?
